Di-Ammonium phosphate is soluble ammonium phosphate salt, which can be produced when ammonia reacts with phosphoric acid, and provides two of primary nutrients, Phosphate (46% min, as P2O5) and Ammoniacal Nitrogen (18% min.).
Di-Ammonium Phosphate is used as a highly effective non-chloride N, P compound fertilizer in agriculture. It contains 74% nutrient elements in total.
Di-Ammonium Phosphate is the most widely used ammo-phos fertilizer on the world. Thanks to its characteristics that is easily adapted to all ranges of dry fertilizer application methods, DAP is an ideal choice as a base product for custom blends.
DAP provides the correct proportion of phosphate and nitrogen nutrients needed for farming especially wheat, barley and vegetables. It is also applied in the early stage of fruit orchard fertilisation. After the application, DAP, temporarily increases the soil pH, but over a long term the treated field becomes more acidic due to nitrification of the ammonium.
